Runz is free and runs on as little data as possible. Here is all of it.
Your email address, so you can sign in. The content you put on your page — name, photo, links, races, personal bests and gear. Nothing else.
A public page is visible to anyone with the link. A private page is visible only to you. You choose in Settings.
Runz sets one cookie: the sign-in cookie that keeps you logged in. There are no advertising cookies, no tracking pixels and no third-party analytics.
We count how many times your page was opened and how many times each link was clicked. The count is a number per day — no IP addresses, no profiles, no visitor identities. Only you can see the numbers for your own page.
Photos you upload are stored in our file storage and are public as part of your page. Delete a photo and the file is removed.
You can choose to appear on Runz's public page for brands. This is off by default and can be switched off anytime. We show only the public running information already on your page and the partnership note you choose to write. Your email address is never shown.
A brand can send you a private message through Runz. We store the sender's name, email and message so you can read it in your account. We do not sell runner data or use automated matching.
When you follow a runner or cheer an update, Runz stores that choice with your account. Cheers never rank the feed, which stays strictly chronological.
Member offers are visible only after sign-in. Runz does not share your email with partners, track purchases or tell partners which offer you opened.
If you rate gear, we store the product, your rating, whether you would buy it again, the usage range and fit. We verify that the item is on your own Runz page. Public Gear Truth results are aggregated and do not show your identity or email.
Signed-in members can privately report a profile or post. We store who submitted the report, what was reported, the selected reason and any optional note so Runz can review it. Reports are never shown publicly.
Settings → Delete account removes your page, your photos, your statistics and your account for good. There is no hidden copy and no waiting period.
Settings → Download my data gives you a file with everything on your page — profile, links, races, times and gear.
Under GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, or have it deleted. Your page content is always visible to you in the editor, and deletion is one button. For anything else, email hello@runz.app.
